Midicake as master or slave ?
I recieved my midicake a few days ago and would like to know the best way to set it up with my other hardware. I have a Roland sh4d, Roland tr8s, Korg modwave and Erica Synths zen delay unit. So far i've only had the time to play with some arps connecting to the modwave, the potentials for this uniq

Limit one (or more) arps to only octaves?
Another probably silly pair of questions here, but is there: A) a way to limit a given arp to only octaves regardless of the number of notes in the current chord? B) a way to limit the maximum octave a given arp hits? Example: I wish Arp 1 to play a (single) octave ostenato bass line of the curr

Understanding USB Connections
I'm trying to gain a better understanding on how MIDI is implemented on the USB connectors of ARP. Throughout the manual, mention is made of MIDI data flowing into/out of 5-pin DIN or USB - with no differentiation of either USB-A or USB-B connectors. Only on page 22 I see: "USB The Type-B USB port

How to alter the gate length of notes like bounce

Compatibility with RK-006

Mute and Follow state save per patch
Having the option to save the set of Mute and Follow states per patch rather than as global would be very useful. I can find o suggestion that this is possible in the manual or have I missed something?

Synchronising 2 Midicake ARPs
I have two Midicake ARPs which I want to control a Roland MC707's eight channels. Each ARP sends midi to a midi merge box and into the MC707. What would be the best way to sync the set up?

Saving questions
1. Can I "copy" or save the current arp settings to another patch bank of 12 instead of within the current one? 2. If I load a patch and then tweak it, have I permanently altered the stored patch that I loaded or can I re-load it to restore it to what it originally had?
