So I’m using ARP with eurorack. I’ve got a Bastl 1983 that does the midi to cv. I’m outputting 3 arp channels and clock/reset to the 1983. When I hit play on the arp it takes 2 or 3 bars to catch up and not be wonky is there any internal settings on the arp that I’m missing?

Wow. You didn’t have to go so far and read the 1983 manual. That’s service thanks. I checked the arp settings it’s all set up the way you suggested. I’ll have to see if I get the same result on the computer and maybe try some other things and get back to you. I’m basically sending clock reset and 3 separate channels of pitch and gates from arp to the 1983 then from there ,clock and reset go to Stolperbeats
.
Just had a quick look at the 1983 manual...there's a lot of possibilities there. :)
Firstly, does this only happen with the Bastl, have you tried outputting ARP to a MIDI Synth or VST?
Do you have any other clock source in the mix?
I'd suggest setting ARP's MIDI Control Mode to OUT.
Mute all but the first track.
Set MIDI Out Voice Mode to MONO.
Lower the Tempo if it's super fast.
Don't send anything into the Listen inputs of the Bastl.
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers
