I just had on V8 and now realize that the short notes of the chord created in the chord chain are output on every run. Even when all arps are muted and I press play....
Below 1 is in Arp modus but a short chord is played on each chordchain

Check if the MIDI Output Channel is set to a value.
Go to SET Mode > Menu > MIDI Output Channel (Note Sync) and set it to OFF.
This setting is only useful if you are Daisy Chaining multiple ARP's or want to output the global chord, in order to harmonic-sync other devices.
