Mute Over CC Control (non-toggle option)
Triggering mutes remotely is very useful, and in some ways I kind of like the current trigger-only mute option because I can overlay various triggers that mix and match things in fun ways.. The main problem is that right now my controllers need some context of the current mute state before knowing

Setting upper/lower note range
Hi again :) After a little more playing over the weekend I would like to suggest having the ability to set the upper and lower notes for a sequencer. You currently have the ability to have a note limit but this can still take the notes outside of the range of an instrument. You've spoken about this

Arp mask
Allow a mask to be applied to the sequence, the mask is a set of specific notes or gates that can be used to determine which notes on the arp sequence are allowed through to output. Example would be if an arp sequence has 16 notes repeating. And a Euclidean mask of 16 pulses on a 23 step mask leng

Song/project mode?
Patches and banks are already a useful feature but I wonder whether a song or project mode might be possible that is made of a group of patches. For me this would be useful to allow each project to have different tempos and chords. For example I might have a higher tempo piece using stand chords, bu

Bounce Chain
Similar to chord chain, would deterministically set bounce sequences, so a new chord, bar, or some determined length would start a new bounce sequence, bounce[ index % bounce.length ] When using bounce as a mod target, how does it currrently choose the bounce index - the order in which the whole li

Sync to gate
If the user could switch off midi sync. then switch it to listen to the gate only on midi channel 16 to advance to next step. This would mimic sh101 sequencer x4. Having it locked to a, fixed midi pulse limits the device imo. Thanks Simon

Chord Chain Duration
I'd like each "link" in the Chord Chain to have a duration in ticks/beats/bars, so you can have interesting song-like chain patterns, e.g. if you turn the duration down below 1 bar it "snaps" in beats, but you could maybe press-turn to adjust in ticks or something. Having chords held longer than 1

Bar length adjustment
I'd like to be able to compose in 3/4, 6/8, and other metrics. Having 4 beats to the bar makes this rather awkward. Could we set the number of beats to a bar, please? :)

Init Arp function
After a month with MidiCake I am pleased with its performance character. The two things I really miss are: • A function to reset an arp channel to some default value • I know, it's mentioned elsewhere. That I cannot save chord progression chains (like the NDLR) Daniel

Chord chain input from external keyboard.
Chord chain input can only be done on the ARP itself. It would be nice if chord chain input could come from an external keyboard.

EZ Theory Mode
I'm not married to the name. A mode you toggle on/off in the menu. When active, only common chord progressions, or, common chords that would follow the currently selected chord type and note, are lit. Uncommon chord progressions could be lit at a different brightness, or different color altogeth

Selective templates
I'd like to be able to save templates, you would be able to nominate which parameters were part of the template so it would be possible to clone it over onto another memory slot leaving the un nominated parameters in the destionation patch unaltered. Partial cloning, maybe?

General ideas from learning and jamming
Sorry for the long list, I’m pretty happy with the device in general, these ideas are in no particular order and have occurred to me over the last couple weeks. 1. Mute CC doesn’t mute as expected, you send 127 to mute and 127 to unmute. It should mute at 127 and unmute below 127, or similar. The

Parameter and patch generator
If possible, add a Generator page to each parameter where users can dial in a percentage of randomness before committing, or in real time. Or, a Generator page in the menu settings with options to include/exclude certain parameters. Or offer a selection of generator "presets" that contain a collec

Solo mode ?
Hi there 😀 Is there a "solo" mode on ARP, which would allow you to mute all the arpeggiators at once, except the selected one ? Instinctively, I tried to press the MUTE button on arpeggiator 2 for a long time, hoping that it would be the only one playing and that 1, 3 and 4 would mute, but that d

MIDI CC Automation - Your thoughts Wanted!
I'm planning out the work to introduce MIDI CC Automation to Midicake ARP and I'd love your input. Essentially, ARP will be outputting MIDI CC sequences and LFOs, alongside or instead of note data. Here is a first draft on what I'd like to achieve. Please read through and let me know your thoughts

Bidirectional List Navigation
Perhaps I missed it in the documentation, but it seems the only way to proceed through a list is one direction, this is workable but I can't tell you how often I overstep and end up circling all over, or I'm coordinating to options in a list and get lost in the circle (especially in the general menu

Root Note/Chord/Scale - Lock Option For Singly Arpeggiators
I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet: Just like the OCTAVE LOCK, I would appreciate having the option to lock single arpeggiators to the Root Note/Chord/Scale to the chosen basic setting. So that not all of the arpeggiators necesarily have to follow a change in the Root Note/Chord/Scale.

Kind of custom FX seeds?
What about some sort of custom/editable FX seeds, ability to define patterns of variations for parameters? This already exists for velocity (rhythm) and delay (groove). Although there are already 127 FX or so seeds in the machine it would be nice if such customization was also an option for the othe

Live Play Chord Detection Enhancements
I have a few other ideas that might be really useful for live input, particularly for the situation of playing a one-note (or one-octave) left-hand with a soloing right hand: 1. A mode where the root note determines also the mode of the chord (e.g. you tell ARP you're in the key of C major, and you

Multiple Sync Sources
When I heard of the ARP, I salivated at the thought of four arps in a box. I had been using two separate boxes arpeggiating data and struggled with getting them to play nicely together. Alas, the ARP is only capable of listening to a single source of data for all of the internal arpeggiators to list

Choose midi outs
Maybe it would be useful to people if they could choose the ins and outs: DIN, USB or DIN+USB.

Option for Quantizing Note Changes
I would request an option to quantize the change of chord/note via the panel buttons. Currently, it changes immediately upon note selection. This is fine, but I would also like an option to quantize to the next bar. This could probably be realized in the Global Menu. No need to get fancy with many l

Saving chord progressions and a preset list of popular chords progressions
It would be nice to not loosing chord progressions by accidentally pressing a note and automatically saving it. Maybe, as you did for bounce, rhythm, a predefined list of popular chords progressions could be fine for quick play.
