Odd issues with external clock
I'm noticing some strangeness when clocking the ARP externally.
Setup:
Clock in from Cirklon 2 via USB port - always running, whether MIDI start/stop has been sent or not.
ARP - slaved to clock, shows correct tempo flickering slightly +/- 1 (I assume USB jitter here).
ARP has 4 patterns unmuted.
When I hit "play" on the Cirklon, everything works perfectly. All arps play the expected tempo/notes in synch at correct speed.
However, when I hit "stop" on the Cirklon (sends MIDI STOP message to ARP, ARP stops) and then hit "play" on the ARP to test the arpeggios while I'm tweaking them (remember, the MIDI clock itself hasn't stopped here), the ARP does one of the following, somewhat randomly (though most often the first example), and switches between them randomly when I pause and play again:
Plays only the first "arp" sequence, at what feels like twice the speed, but rather "jerkily" and drops a lot of note messages so I get a sort of funky randomly fading / phasing pattern based on dropped notes and odd durations.
Plays all four sequences at double-or-more speed like a drunken madman (somewhat jittery and not all in sync - or so it feels, at least, it's too fast to note what's actually going on)
Plays nothing, but has the play button green and enabled, and acts like it's playing something (measure bar indicator in OLED advances "normally")
Bit odd, this. I'm on firmware 1.5.5.3972.

Hi, I fixed the original issue and released an update 1.x.5.3973 back in February I think. I thought I'd updated this post with the info but I can't find it in the comments. I was definitely having an email conversation with someone about it and figured I'd resolved it back then because I've marked the bug ticket as fixed. So yes, it's in the V6 update too. Let me know if it's still an issue for you. Sorry about this, I really thought I'd updated this post. :( Cheers Chris
