Currently there is no direct way to apply chord inversions using ARP's Note and Chord buttons. However, this is on the roadmap for a future update. We have a completed design for chord inversions to be applied manually and in Chord Chains.
In the mean time, ARP supports chord inversions via an external keyboard.
Alternatively, you can use the Note Offset parameter to shift one or more tracks up and down the Chord/Scale, simulating the effect of different chord positions. You could even assign Note Offset to a macro, to apply this on the fly.
I hope that information is helpful.
I'll update this thread when the work to support Chord Inversions is completed.
Thanks, the Note Offset parameter worked well. I also found that just setting the arp direction to down for a chord could get me a 1st inversion too. However, the Note Offset approach is more flexible. Thanks!
