Rack Mounting Options for Midicake ARP

ARP's 100mm VESA screw ports allow mounting on any VESA stand. This product was suggested as a great option to rack mount your Midicake ARP. https://www.beetronics.co.uk/19-inch-rack-mount-kit How do you mount yours?

Modulation Strategies

There are now (v7/8) so many ways to modulate on ARP that I made this crib sheet to remind myself. It is probably not comprehensive so I'd love to capture some more suggestions.

Wow, John! This is an brilliant piece of work! I never thought anyone would use ARP as the basis for their doctoral thesis. :) There's a lot to consider here and I wanted to read it fully before responding. There's definitely information here that would be useful in ARP's User Manual. I think there's hours of video tutorials that could be built on the information too. I'll promote this thread in the next newsletter as it would be great to learn how others have explored modulation techniques. Thank you!

Connecting Two ARPs via USB to mioXL

Hi,

I've been connecting my two ARPs to my mioXL MIDI interface via USB but find that because the devices have the same device ID they sometimes switch their host ports.

Is it possible in a future firmware update to have the ability to add a unique device ID to each?

The screenshot shows what I see in the mioXL on HST7 and HST8. I know I can use MIDI DIN IN/OUT but wanted to avoid also needing to power via USB too.

Cheers

Mark

Could you not just do an additional Firmware build that has a different Name (''MIDICAKE ARP2''), & different PID, and supply it on demand to people that have two (or maybe more) Arps?
